DESCRIPTION
Pac the Man X... Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man are back! Pac the Man X has 25 new challenging levels and a new difficulty level: Master. Available for single player only, Master plunges the levels in total darkness. Are you daring enough to try it?

Features: 1 player or 2 simultaneous players, 4 difficulty levels, 25 new challenging levels, New OpenGL engine with updated graphics and animations, level editor, Mac-Intel compatible.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.1.1:
  • Eaten ghosts will now return to their citadel more quickly.
  • If you eat a super pellet all blue ghosts will come out of the citadel more quickly.

Version 1.1:
  • Added new level pack 'Tsunami's levels'.
  • Custom levels will now be copied into the folder "~/Application Support/Pac the Man X" instead of a folder inside the program package. This way updating the program file will not lead to a loss of the custom levels.

BEDOUIN  Network / On-Line play would be an awesome future feature.   (Version 1.0.9)

VEGGIEDUDE  I upgraded from 1.0.6 to 1.0.8a and now I find it very annoying because the speed is now variable. Must be a Leopard incompatibility. I hope it gets fixed so the Pacman will not keep slowing down and speeding up at different times in the game.  (Version 1.0.8a)

RATTUS  Very nice freeware game with polished graphics, music and presentation.

But... The ghosts shouldn't be able to move faster than you! It's just not sporting! :(

Developer: please implement an easier mode.  (Version 1.0.8a)

    ****.

SYHARRIS  Not only is the previous reviewer spot on, this version is even more vicious than the previous one.

For one to do well, one must not only have perfect concentration, but one must be: young, have perfect reflexes, be totally without any physical/neurological handicaps whatsoever.

If you fulfill ALL the above qualifications, and fulfill them 100%, you have a fairly good chance of advancing through the ranks to higher levels.

If not, be prepared to be made a fool of, over and over again.  (Version 1.0.7)
