DESCRIPTION
KDiff3 is a program that:
  • compares or merges two or three text input files or directories,
  • shows the differences line by line and character by character (!),
  • provides an automatic merge-facility and
  • an integrated editor for comfortable solving of merge-conflicts,
  • supports Unicode, UTF-8 and other codecs,
  • supports KIO on KDE (allows accessing ftp, sftp, fish, smb etc.),
  • and has an intuitive graphical user interface.

ILIKETRASH  There is now a binary for OS X (see earlier comment). However, this program doesn't seem to recognize old-school Macintosh line endings, ASCII 13. I sent a note to the developer about this.

DJC99  PPC is there, scroll down the download page. Seems to run fine for me on a powerbook wiht 10.7. Nice product!

GERWINPHILIPPO  Guess it's nice, but for Macs, there is only a sourcecode download. Binary is only for windows.
