DESCRIPTION
Pipmak Game Engine allows you to make panoramic adventure games, in a style similar to that of the Myst game series. You can use static images or 360¡ panoramic views, allowing you to make game like any of the Myst series.

It uses Lua for scripting, meaning you can make games using a powerful yet easy to learn language. Pipmak is available under the GPL licence. It is currently in a very early stage of development.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 0.2.7:
  • Display of text on patches in arbitrary TrueType fonts.
  • Patches can now be rotated and even arbitrarily positioned in 3D.
  • A new Lua command line panel and a Lua table inspector make testing and debugging easier.
  • Various smaller features, as detailed in the release notes.
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

    HENDO  Look pretty cool! I don't know if I really need this because I have warcraft 3 map edit, but this looks like (when its finished anyway) that it will probably be more flexible. What I still want to see is a program similar to RPG Maker XP...for mac...or just RPG Maker XP rewritten for the mac....I'll prolly have an intel mac before that ever comes out and then i'll use bootcamp! ok...i'm way off topic:P anywayz great job!

    SCATTERBRAINE  I can't create any Project! The only things I can do in the menu are Open Project... and Open Saved Game...

    What the hell?

    PAUL DORMAN  As the developer said, this is still in early development, and needs a lot of work. Nevertheless, I think it is already pretty slick, and very promising. Definitely worth keeping your eye on.

    No problems with crashing, as far as I know (from playing with the downloadable demo from their website) it still lacks sounds, but it looks good so far.
