ToneTester is a Macintosh application that tests hearing. Specifically, it looks for offsets in how each of a person's ears hears pitch (the formal term for this is "binaural diplacusis" or "interaural pitch difference"). To use it, you adjust a slider until your ears hear the same pitch, and then ToneTester tells you the actual pitch difference.
WOLF generates alternating left-right tones, rather than continuous tones (producing binaural beats) which i had rather expected... great idea though - give it a twirl (Version 1.0)
MATT21 Wow! Just discovered I consistently hear a semi-tone higher in my right ear. I'm a musician and I had no idea. I know it's my ears and not ToneTester because switching headphones around made no difference in the results. Weird, man. (Version 1.0)
