SASASUSHI  This major release adds long awaited Leopard support to this beloved application. It is now the only burner app for OS X I know of capable of burning audio CD images with Exact Audio Copy style CUE files. For me this was worth the price of admission. That this app is freeware is amazing since it is as or more powerful than similar commercial/shareware apps. I am really grateful to the developer for donating his time to the continuing support of this project.

TEKL  Great, but I think there should be a button for copying disks instead of hiding it deep in the program.

GREGR  Super, super, super. Seriously needs decent Apple-looking toolbar icons. Or make the toolbar customizable so that we can choose. Great work, outstanding value.

XYPHER  Thank you for adding the layer break option as per my email request. This sole feature is worth the donation alone. Nero or Toast won't let you set it manually, so as of this writing, this is the only Mac app that offers this functionality. Splendid work. Time for me to donate thankfully!

TIMGOEREE  Great app. Very easy to use but also a lot of advanced options. This is an application that rivals Toast but this one is free instead of $80! I've deleted Toast from my computer and just use this instead.

BITSTREAM  This is a terrific app! I had been using Roxio Toast for years and found that I had to shell out another $80+ for an Intel-native version which included lots of features I don't need. All I want is a program that burns in a number of different formats with the minimum of fuss.

LiquidCD fills the bill perfectly and the price is right! Even though this app is "Free", do the right thing and Donate to keep this great app up-to-date. I did and am glad to support independent software developers.

If you are looking for an app with the simplicity of Toast 5 and need Intel compatability, look no further. LiquidCD is terrific!

ARVIDTP  I really like this program - works great for burning CDs from the Apple Lossless files I store my masters in. Waveburner needs to convert them back to AIFFs before burning. And if the pieces are already mastered, you don't need all the features waveburner has - just the ability to set track pauses individually, which LiquidCD does well.

But it seems that when I drag in an iTunes playlist from the Media Browser, the order is not maintained and I must re-order the tracks if they are from different albums. Works OK if I drag in tracks in groups that only contain songs from one "album" in iTunes. Otherwise it appears to order them close to alphabetically by album, but not quite.

ARVIDTP  Oh - also when I save an audio CD as a LiquidCD Document, quit LiquidCD and reopen the file, anything that was set to 0 sec pause is reset to 2 seconds. So close, yet so far!

MACONNECT  Hello,

Thank you for using LiquidCD. Please use the official forum or bug tracker or e-mail to report bugs. You will have a better feedback.

The two bugs have been added to the official bug tracker:

YAPPA  The great thing about LiquidCD is that it can save NRG images (often created on a PC using NERO Burning ROM) as ISO images (i.e. International Standards Organisation CD/DVD images).

I used to have to use a W'doze program in WINE.

CYANN  I'm used to burn CD and DVD with the software included in my Mac, and I'd like to know why I should need this freeware?

Sorry for my misunderstanding.

MACONNECT  If you are happy with the tools provided with the system, then you don't need this. You can use LiquidCD if you want a single interface rather than using several apps. Or if you need more advanced features, like burning disc images that the Mac can't open. You should try LiquidCD and maybe you will find a couple of features that you'll like.
