DESCRIPTION
Gamepedia is a powerful cataloging application for video and computer games which allows you to retrieve all your game information from the Internet, either by using keywords or using an iSight or a scanner for the search.
Gamepedia lets you to search every Amazon site - US, UK, Germany, Canada, France and Japan - for information about your games. It also lets you add links to reviews, walk-throughs and screenshots from any other site.
You can keep a wish list for those games you don't own yet and a borrowed list for those you want back. To get even more organized, create smart collections that update themselves automatically whenever a new entry is added to the program.
Display your collections in a table view, browse only the covers with the cover view or use the info view for a more personalized look. Share your collections with friends, using the customizable HTML export templates or one of the other three export formats. Gamepedia comes with full Spotlight integration and is localized in Spanish, French and German.

THECAUSE Bought the triple suite for $39 and am working to catalog all of my collections. Would like more game centric focused features for gamepedia akin to dvdpedia which offers a menu for additional information on the current movie include bloopers, etc. Would be nice if gamepedia offered a similar menu. Also would like the ability to use plugins with the program to add functionality. Overall however, very easy to use and works well.

XPLICIT What about a single "pedia" for all my media stuff? One application for every different kind is somehow annoying. Come on, four apps which do nearly the same, that's a laugh.

BRUJI As Bimble mentioned in the previous post, the main reason the programs are separate is because we want them to be good at what they do - if you have large collections then putting them all together into one application will mean a slower program and less specialized features. It also allows us to keep the price low for users who are only interested in one application. (And for those interested in more we offer bundle discounts.) Having said that though, the Pedia programs do have some integration between them. You can link a Bookpedia book to a DVDpedia movie, for example. Sure, you're using two programs but clicking on the link will take you directly to the other program with the related entry highlighted. Alternatively, there's also the Amazonpedia widget or Spotlight which allow you to search all your Pedia libraries at once (as well as Amazon with the widget) so you don't have to have all the programs running just to check for an entry.

AETNARIA It's a preference thing. Some people want only the game collection tracking app, or want separate apps for each collection (ie, they have a book collection app they Love, but also DVD/etc collections they wish to keep track of). If you want one application for a collection of several different kinds of things, then check out Booxter or Librarian Pro. No one is forcing you to use an idea you don't like. Stop trolling.

BIMBLE The Pedia apps are focused on their specific media types, which is why they're sold separately. Where Delicious Library has a generic template, allowing more flexibility within the same app for varied item types, Gamepedia and the other apps from Bruji have fields and options dedicated just to the type of item they track. That lets them gussy up the HTML exports and add fields specific to the media type (like whether a game is a collector's edition, and a section for walkthrough links and screenshots). While Gamepedia is $18 alone, if you go to the developer's website they offer package deals - right now, 20% off if you buy two, $39 for three of the Pedias as a bundle, and $49 for all four. If you want everything in one application, Delicious Library and the newer Library Pro are solid programs. If you want something more specialized by media type and don't mind having separate apps, the Pedias do a good job. Personally I like the Pedia approach better after trying several apps of this sort. I'd recommend trying them and the other applications out then making a purchase decision after that - the price points aren't very different when the bundles are taken into account.

ATGMAC I would be more inclined to buy this and the other three 'pedias' if it was all one app. 4 apps is too much when they serve similar purposes.

ANONYMOUS Let's see.. that's DVDpedia, which I registered for $18 when it came out and does work well, then CDpedia at the same price, and now Gamepedia for yet another $18. And then there's, say, Delicious Library which I thought was too pricey at $40 which does it all and some might say better. So, why am I getting cynical about some shareware authors..? There must be a reason somewhere.. (scratching head)
