AKROBAT  Brilliant!!

I was desperately looking for something that could edit (fill in) PDF's. Tried FormMate but I don't see why I should fork out $30 for an app I might use once a year.

Looked on MU and found this gem of an app. Does the same job and does it free.

Many thanks Andrew - this is much appreciated!

DORKYPANTS  Very nice, much more self-explanatory than Formulate and easier to use. Would be nice if it put its own document icons on documents it creates: currently you only get a blank rectangle in Finder (in Tiger).

JCTULL  This is a simple yet effective application for turning pdf documents into filled-in forms. Yes, you can use Acrobat or Preview (with frequent problems) if you are filling in pre-defined forms. But many forms are locked, such as the passport forms from the US Government. Using this program, you can create modifiable forms in short order. I hope this program continues to work in future OS X revisions.

MATT KINABREW  It's a little confusing that you have to type text in the box, hit return, and then click to have the text appear, but it's quite functional, and I'll continue using it to fill out forms. Thanks very much to the developer, and please continue to develop this program. It has a lot of potential.

ARVID  wow! cool idea! I like it... I might use it for commenting PDFs i have to read for classes...

Spruce up the interface, and add highlighting of text, and this would be simply awesome!

I like that when you save it, it does not modify the original PDF, but you have to option to save as PDF by printing as always. Nice. One issue - the body text in a 'printed' pdf from this program is not selectable in preview (the added text is, but not the original text)... just a minor detail to note.

Awesome concept - and already functional - except for the lack of zoom... I hope the developer keeps working on this one!
