DESCRIPTION
AnimAide XT software is for stop motion animation but it could also be used other traditional animation (e.g. pencil tests). It captures frames from a digital still camera or it may be used in conjunction with other remote capture software. (Preferably with a live feed). This software does not interface with video and is intended for high definition output. It supports JPEG and TIFF images. If you are intent on using video, you could still use AnimAide along with other video capture software as a reference. Just point the project directory to the place where the video image files are being stored on the hard drive. It also has a view window that is completely transparent when the source is fully off and it allows you to see other applications (frame grabbers, live feeds) behind it. So other animation software can work in conjunction with AnimAide. Script automation in preferences allows for switching between AnimAide and another software.

PERSON1229  What?

Intel only, requires Leopard, but the icon is 128 x 128?

Why would anyone even make an Intel only binary for something that's easily universal? That's a great way to turn away customers.

CRSP  Has this software become Intel only? The system requirement here state "Mac OS X 10.5 (Intel) or later", and the change history on the homepage shows "(Intel)". But the platform here states "PPC/Intel" as well as the system requirements on the homepage. Does that mean the newer version will from now only be Intel, and no PPC updates?
