DESCRIPTION
3D Desktop Aquarium Screen Saver... Watch as your monitor fills with water and real 3D fish begin to swim around the screen you were just working on!

Features:

  • Real time 3D fish that don't just swim back and forth, but towards you and away from you, up and down. Like real fish!
  • Dynamic underwater lighting. So if the surface of the water ripples, so does the refracted light!
  • The registered version lets you download fish right into the screen saver from the Settings screen. It couldn't be easier! Take a look at the website to see pictures of the fish which are available for download into the full version.
  • Select between tropical salt water fish, and fresh water fish, or mix them all together! Remember virtual fish can all survive in the same virtual water!
  • Many options so you can customize it to your liking. With the full version, you can have as many as 40 fish swimming around at once, as long as your CPU can handle it!
  • Feedback is always welcome! If this isn't the best 3D aquarium there is, then let us know how you think it can be improved.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.5 fixes multi-monitor support when using the screen grab background option. If you have multiple displays, it should now capture the screen for each display separately before unleashing the fish!
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.3 or later.

FREDPDAVIS  I purchased some time ago and even with updates, doesn't seem to work with OS X version 10.5.2 on my current iMac, MacBook Air or 15" MacBook Pro, all running the same system software. Was a great program when I originally bought it, wished it worked, really enjoyed the graphics.  (Version 1.5)

HTGROFF  I downloaded the update from 1.4 to 1.4.1 and the updated version says it's an Unregistered version. Version 1.4.1 only fixes bugs and, according to the developer's website, to update it says to go to the website as shown on your original receipt and click on the download/re-download link, which I did and I get an error message saying: "The re-download limit for this item has been exceeded. If you have questions about this error message, please contact"

I tried re-installing my 1.4 version and just get an error message, so I assume I'll be without my full version (with a 3 fish limit) of 3D Aquarium Screen Saver unless I pay for it again.  (Version 1.4.1)

DB  I too paid for this fine SS some time ago.. but it is apparently extremely difficult to contact the dev. - half the links on the website deadend (inc. the FAQ !!) and the link to an upgrade (sent me via email lo these many moons ago) also goes nowhere. Very frustrating. There is a yahoo group but the activity is practically non-existent.

At this time I would have to recommend against anyone new to this outfit getting involved... a pity really because they have some fine products, just no support to speak of. ie: tried to send an email -> deadend; tried to contact via yahoo group -> no go; tried the links sent to me and on the website -> un-uh, sorry charlie. frustrating to say the least.

  (Version 1.4)
