Locomotive is a flexible one-click solution to Ruby on Rails development for Mac OS X 10.3 or later. In one self-contained application, it gives you a fully functional Rails development platform including: (but not limited to)
SVOOP There's still room for features, but the only real missing feature of Locomotive is IMHO that there's no equivalent for PHP ;-) Love it for my Rails projects though. (Version 2.0.8)
GEE4ORCE Although Locomotive is an excellent, on-click way to get a working Rails system on your Mac, I just found that mine was eating up over 600Mb of real memory, and over 3.5Gb of VM ! There must be a memory leak in one of the components somewhere, so beware. (Version 2.0.8)
RODRIGO VARELA TABUYO Very easy, the way Mac users want things done.
Be aware of the use of the Terminal. In the demo video it made clear you must it from Locomotive. If you use Terminal from the Utilities folder, you will get errors. (Version 0.4.1)
