DESCRIPTION
Erroneous... It’s crazy to assume that you would want to open one application every time you insert a CD or DVD. Until now. Erroneous provides you with a list of applications you can open the newly inserted item with.

ROBERT  The keyboard controls are bizarre and counterintuitive. Once you figure them out, you'll find the app doesn't actually work.

Perhaps it did once, but not anymore. OS X 10.4.10

MSADESIGN  Thanks for a nice app- looking forward to the updates. [oh- and you morons who demand 'please fix'- this is a free application, dude].

The only real complaint I have: when you go to add an app to the list, the program looks at all the applications it can find- and if you have several hard drives this means it will show four copies of VLC1 [or whatever]. Would rather default to 'Browse', which would also be a lot faster, but just a suggestion.

Thanks for writing this useful utility.

IMPROV, PASTENCE  A Note: I am currently working on updates to all of my applications and Erroneous is getting a major overhaul.

It should deal with most of the current issues, as well as make it a *much* more friendly interface.

    Dan

P.S. I apologize for the download not being available, I am having a lot of trouble with my host.

EKRYSS  I keep getting this pop-up that won't allow me to install the latest version:

The file "erroneous.sit" does not appear to be compressed or encoded. It is advised that you obtain further information about the contents of this file from the sender or provider of the file. It will help to know what program created the file and what operating system(s) the file can be used on.

I sent an e-mail directly to the devo, via the "contact devo" prompt under the help menu and it was returned to me undeliverable 3 days later. Is there someone that can help me?

MEATMCGUFFIN  very neat app. two suggestions though:

there should be a way of removing and adding apps. (i don't have translucy but i do have two versions of mactheripper!)

the next most useful thing would be to have erroneus check to see if any of the listed apps is running when a dvd is inserted. if this is the case then arroneus should close.

other then that, awesome and timesaving. cheers!

UMAROMC  Would it be possible to detect SVCDs/VCDs, DivX, XviD, etc. formats on discs?

    Nifty concept indeed!

CRAZY APE  Yes you can, but this provides you with a choice every time a DVD is inserted, otherwise you would have to keep on going into System Prefrences and switch it back and forth. This just makes that prosess easyer. Nice Job!
