IMSINCLAIR  I just downloaded the Leapord version of Say Cheese and the Calvin & Hobbes doesn't work. Also, the buttons on the info section (back of the widget) are off-set. Besides that it seems fine though occasionally it locks up Dashboard temporarily.

PATCHOULOL  I used pornel's version, and uploaded a fixed one on http://patchoulol.free.fr/Say-Cheese-leopard.wdgt.zip

Now :

- Graphics are OK

- Calvin & Hobbes are OK

WAPKAPLET  Your fix is great! The graphics aren't skewed anymore and Calvin and Hobbes works now.

But Sinfest appears to be broken. When Sinfest is selected on either of my Macs it locks up the entire dashboard for a long time.

Also, I can see on my network monitor that there's a connection from the dashboard to www.sinfest.net that keeps spinning.

Finally, I notice that when Sinfest is selected it jumps to an odd date where there's obviously no comic, like November 30th, 1899.

After a while the network connection stops spinning, the dashboard unlocks and a new comic can be selected, but nothing from Sinfest ever actually loads.

I've noticed similar behaviour if you try to go far back into the Penny Arcade archives for example.

Is this happening to anyone else, or just me?

Thanks!

DRACO  Need help:

I upgrade to leopard and now Say Cheese widget still works but the graphic is a bit funny.

It seems to me that there are some mistakes in html code 'cause the yellow graphic is always misplaced.

Thanks for helping me

ICHATERGOSUM  I've also got a display issue with this widget, version 2.3 according to Macupdate, from where I downloaded it. However, the version number is unspecified in the GetInfo window, other than 'Created: Saturday, 1 July 2006'.The widget does not have a solid yellow border when viewing a comic. Parts of the border are missing.

A later version doesn't display Calvin & Hobbes at all, I just get 'Error'. Its GetInfo widow says 'Created: Saturday, 24 November 2007'.

Am running Mac OS 10.5.1.

LHELDEN  I truly love this widget, but I would like it if there were more comics to choose. There are several of the comics that just give "Error" now such as "Calvin & Hobbes", "Shoe" and "Wulffmorgenthaler" to name a few. I think there are more, but I don't have them selected. I used to get all three of these and now none of them display.

If I have done something wrong or done something that I shouldn't have please let me know. "Calvin & Hobbes" is one of my favorites comics.

Thanks for this widget.

HOBBESWIDGET  Delete the preferences.

- Close the widget

- Delete: Library/Preferences/widget-killerwidgets.widget.say cheese.plist

- Open the widget.

Don't look at Shaw Island, it is broken, the developer has stopped making Shaw Island.
