ANONYMOUS Well, I read all these negative comments about not being able to download MicroMat's updates, and thought they were just from newbies who didn't know how to donwload files. But they were right. I clicked "Download", went to my Micromat Account Control Panel, clicked "Download" again, went to a list of files, clicked "Download" again -- and ended up back at the Control Panel where I started! Just to for fun, and to make sure, I went around to the loop a few more times. In the programming trade, that's called an "infinite loop", i.e., there's no way out. And no download. Well, everybody makes mistakes, but it seems that Micromat is unusually slow about fixing things. I had this problem on 10/17, and other people have reported what sounds like the same problem more than a month ago. Since others have reported that they WERE able to download, maybe the problem only occurs when the server is overloaded But if that's true, wouldn't you think that Micromat would post a note to that effect, instead of giving people more reason to flame them?
