Tigergotchi is a virtual Dashboard tiger which is in need for some water, food, and love. When you provide your tiger with enough of those ingredients, he will be happy and last a long time on your Dashboard.
REDDAWG123 Hey, I suggest you think about implementing your widget into a "mobile" format. Something that can go across the web and be used nearly anywhere. I use Clearspring at http://www.clearspring.com/ as they are relatively easy to use. Check them out, takes like 30 seconds to register. (Version 1.2)
MAKAI Beware, this guy will keep ypu busy right from the start, for example if you haven't yet moved on to Leopard: version 1.2 is not just "Leopard compatible", it's Leopard-ONLY. Checked for an earlier version on the developers site, but seems all gone.
Well, I guess we have to take it as a sign of the times, if a TIGERgotchi will run with Leo exclusively. (Version 1.2)
MEKENTOSJ Hi! Indeed there was a bug in the 1.0 version of Tigergotchi that made it consume CPU cycles just as fast as meat, water and love. This bug seems to be the cause of similar behaviour we have now seen in other widgets as well, and we have reported it to Apple. The good news is that this is fixed in Tigergotchi 1.0.1, it now uses no more than 1.5% CPU time....
JON a nice idea, but this little cat is a resource hog.
with dashboard active it takes nearly 50% of my resources, and with dashboard inactive it takes about 2%. i understand the need to have it constantly run, but that breaks apple guidelines and should at least be noted.
i wasn't the target market in the first place, but needless to say-- it is off my computer. (Version 1.0.1)
