DESCRIPTION
FlyGesture is activated like Exposé or Dashboard, bringing up a transparent window of "guides" to move your mouse through. Moving your mouse through the guides lets FlyGesture know what action or actions you want to be performed, such as closing a window or opening an application.

FlyGesture isn't a one trick pony. In addition to actions like "Open Application", FlyGesture also comes with actions to type text, call command keys, open files or folders, open websites, run Automator workflows, run custom AppleScript, and various other commands.

DOUG ENGELBART  This Freeware is one of the absolute greatest ever. Cheers to the dev! One question: Under "Action: Type:" I want to type a shortcut like Command+Delete or Option+Home etc. But if I type the DELETE key into the field for "Type:", then it remains empty and that key is not executed. So how do I define keys like Delete, Home, PgUp, PgDwn etc.?

GETSOMESAUCE  "People have been saying this for years: If nobody's complaining about the price of your application, then you've got it too low. ... Originally VooDooPad was only $9.95, and right it's 30 dollars, and I, um, just keep on raising the price and nobody's complaining. They keep on buying it. OK, I'll do that."

DAN  Try xGestures; a system pref pane that is completely customizable+no graphical representation. Doing what it's supposed to immediately is graphical representation enough (launching apps, closing windows, creating new windows, et cetera).

As an additional bonus, xGestures is compatible w/ 10.3 and 10.4 (two diff downloads, simple though) and is only $5.

Save the twenty bucks (minus five cents).

PITERPAN  This is brilliant to open applications!

The gestures are full configurable. Great idea!

Altought sometimes it's faster to click the icon on the dock, or do a apple+w to close a window than to press F1 and make a gesture. It needs two steps to make execute some simple action, like closing a window and you have to make the gestures inside a graphical representation with circles.

If it was only in gestures (without the graphical representation, I'm talking about the circles) that would be truly wonderfull!

Like in the game "Black & White"! That would be to difficult to implement? It has it's problems of course. But it could be the second alternative in Gesture:

First option (the present one)- Press F1 and make the gesture within the graphic circles that appear to activate the action.

Second Option- Press F1 and make the gesture to activate the action (without the graphic help).

Anyway, just an idea.

The rest is great. Thanks?

This will be Freeware?
