LOU KASH  If FutureDecks Lite is supposed to be the "future" of digital deejaying, then I'm pretty glad we're not there yet.

The "futuristic" interface is very confusing and hard to read. I wasn't able to figure out what is supposed to be the drop zone. Some tracks played, some not, some other showed up and played all by themselves.

The playlist doesn't support Unicode.

In fact, I was quite glad this software crashed after about five minutes... ;)

In this category, DJ-1800 is the way to go.

ANGEL  FutureDecks is getting better now that iTunes-integration is there, but there's still room for improvement: bpm-detection is incorrect most of the time ("Only you" by Yazoo on 140 bpm???), still no proper help file, and some of its sound-effects don't do anything (Phase, Reverb, Echo), whereas others sound really quirky (Autopan, Flanger, Delay). It would also be nice if Automix-Function wouldn't sync bpm automatically...

But the one thing that makes FutureDecks indispensable is its ability to record one's mixes.

As the guys at Xylio seem to pay attention to their customers, I'm having great hopes for the future.

SID  Looks good, reasonable pricing and many nice features - but no iTunes-support, no Drag & Drop, awful sound and a ridiculous tendency towards crashing. Sorry guys - back to the drawing board! I'll stick to DJ-1800...

IONUT VOICULET  yes, there were some instability issues that we have already corrected. Sorry for that. We will include iTunes support and full drag&drop in the next version -- very soon (you can drag a song from the playlist to the screens).

This is our first MAC software, so there might be some small errors ;)
