The Azureus Dashboard Widget provides a compact, friendly interface for monitoring and managing BitTorrent downloads. It's especially useful for remote torrent management — for instance, if you use a machine other than your main workstation for BitTorrent downloads — but works just as well for controlling Azureus on your local machine.
Instructions for installation can be found at the widget's homepage.
JOHN BIGBOOTE Love the widget, but can't get it to connect to my azureus machine when it runs anything above Azureus 2.4. With 2.5, it shows downloads, but no control buttons.
Hope the developer updates this great software soon! (Version 0.11)
RICARDOS Great Widget. Means I can download torrents on my server and not have to look at windows or deal with Azureus. Would like the ability to stop all and resume all downloads and also a timer option to start downloading at a specified time and then stop at a specified time.
When the machine running the widget is in the same network as the azureus machine it works really fine. On a remote network, connected via VPN it doesn't work. The VPN itself works just fine. Any ideas about this?
ANONYMOUS Very nice addition to Azureus. Would like to see ability to add torrents remotely, as well as monitor them. Somewhat difficult to configure if you're behind a rounter, but works very nicely when it's running. (Version 0.1)
JEFURRY To the person who suggested the ability to add torrents remotely: you can!
Select the .torrent file with your mouse, and drag it. While dragging, press F12 to bring up the dashboard. The torrent file icon will still be dragging. Drop the file on the Azureus frog on the widget. It will be transferred to the Azureus client program and be handled as normal from then on (which may or may not auto-start it depending on your Azureus settings). (Version 0.11)

D CHALMERS Very nice, much better than controlling BT over VNC. Wish it were a little smaller, but overall a fantastic, useful widget. (Version 0.1)
ANONYMOUS Wow, not only is this a much nicer front end for Azureus, but it also completes my headless bittorrent server! Very, very nice. (Version 0.1)
Would be nice to control other bt clients with the same widget (specially those that work via CLI, like btdownloadcurses.py) because they use just a few resources).
For now I still use ssh + screen + btdownloadcurses.py ;) Nice widget! (Version 0.1)
