DESCRIPTION

HappyNewYear! makes it easy to create personalized calendars with your own digital photos. Create printed calendars to display in a calendar case, a standard 4x6 frame, or a standard CD jewel case. Save your calendars as Dashboard Widgets to display on your Mac.

  • Create your own calendars by selecting a different photo for each month of the year. Just "drag and drop" your photos from iPhoto or the Finderit's that simple!
  • Customize the fonts and colors on your calendar. HappyNewYear! lets you set the fonts on your calendar to any font installed on your system. You can also choose the text color and background color on your calendar.
  • Print your calendars with your own color printer. Cut the calendar pages out, put them in a standard CD jewel case, a calendar case or a 4x6 picture frame, and you're done!
  • With 4x6 calendars, you can also save each calendar month as a JPEG file and print them out at a digital photo center.
  • You don't have to wait until January of next yearstart your calendar with this month and you can enjoy it right away. Make uptodate calendar months with current photos for your friends and family.
  • Calendars can be printed in any language supported by Mac OS X.
WHAT'S NEW

ELWOOD3711  Haven't purchased it yet but seems pretty neat thoughtout program. It be a great gift idea for the coming season I have one question I hoped to be answered....once purchased & the limitations are lifted..Will I be able to vary the calendar size before printing out?.....In a mock print set up i did...in preview...I'd like to be able to fill the entire page if I chose too. If so...I'd buy it for sure!

24X7DIGITAL  Version 2.0 only supports 3 formats at the moment: CD Jewel Case, 4x6 print, and Calendar Jewel Case. We may add support for other formats in the future as we have rearchitected the program to facilitate additional templates. Thanks for your feedback!

MOK.IN.TOUCH™  This is the worst download experience I ever have. Nevermind about paying for it. So unprofessional.

You have to pay me to download it!!!

TIM27  It would help us to understand if you DESCRIBE what you mean by "worst download experience." Downloading implies that you had trouble downloading the software, not using it. So I don't get it.

24X7DIGITAL  We have adjusted a mime-type settings on our webserver to see if that helps non-Safari users to download a bit less painfully. We would appreciate additional detailed feedback (good or bad) regarding the download experience. Apologies to Mok.In.Touch™.

24X7DIGITAL  FireFox users who previously had problems downloading may need to clear their cache if downloading problems persist (not sure why this is). Or you may try this alternate direct download link:

KEMACSABE  Looked like fun so I downloaded it. It's just as easy as the developer claims! Kind of fun and will be useful for making gift CDs and even classy back-up CDs. Cool! One correction, guys: "Donationware" is freeware with a request for voluntary donations. If the user is obligated to pay in order to obtain normal (even limited) usage, that's "shareware". HNY! charges $5 to register, which is required to use the current year's settings (a pretty big limitation). (Hey, MacUpdate: do you provide a definitions guide?)

24X7DIGITAL  In commemoration of today's successful Space Shuttle launch, we've posted a Shuttle Calendar in Zipped PDF format (3.3MB). You can download it, and print it on a color printer, cut out the images, and slide them into an old CD jewel case which can be reused as a desktop calendar frame. The sample calendar also shows the new cutting guides added in version 1.1.
