    JOHN LEWIS  Would this be compatible with a studio (audio only) dat via optical or AES-EBU? I'm thinking Tascam DA20->Mac via Korg 1212 I/O soundcard.

    PETER DICAMILLO  DATXtract isn't designed to work with sound cards. It requires a DDS tape drive with firmware that supports audio tapes. The drive would connect using SCSI, or Firewire with a SCSI adapter. See the DATXtract doc for more information.
