DESCRIPTION
WBC iTunes Scripts Collection are a number of scripts that work with iTunes, in conjunction with other programs.

WBC is releasing this iTunes Scripts Collection as one large collection in the interests of convenience (yours and ours!)

Contains:

  • WBC iTunes Suite for Salling Clicker (from now on to be distributed as part of this collection)
  • WBC iTunes Hot Keys Set (for QuicKeys or other Hot Keys program)
  • WBC iTunes Scripts for Big Cat
  • WBC iTunes Meets GeekTool
  • WBC Grab Bag scripts (mostly for ID3 tag clean-up + other miscellaneous scripts)

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.8.3
  • Updated the grab-bag playlist scripts to deal with a bug introduced by Apple in iTunes 8.2.
  • AMG Info script was updated long ago but not repackaged. Forgot what changes were made.
Version 1.8.2
  • [Added] Sort Tags to Last Name, Rest. This script takes a selection of tracks and changes the sort tags for your choice of artist, album artist, or composer to a Last Name, Rest format. For example, the sort tags of Bob Mould would be changed to Mould, Bob. (iTunes 7.1 +)
  • [Added]Sort Tags Clear. This script takes a selection of tracks and clears the sort tags for your choice of artist, album artist, or composer. (iTunes 7.1 +)
  • [Fixed] Next Page / Previous Page links in iPod Catalog script.
  • [Changed] Playlists with "Singles" in name skipped in iPod Catalog by default, can be changed in exceptions property.
Version 1.8:
  • Added Growl notification support (if available) to all hot key scripts.
  • Added Growl notification support (if available) to all Big Cat scripts.
  • Added Growl notification support (if available) to iPod Catalog scripts.
  • Added Growl notification support (if available) to Clean ID3 Tags script.
  • Fixed Get Lyrical in hot keys sets and Salling Clicker scripts to conform to Chris Shull's version 2.1
  • Other minor bug fixes.
Version 1.7.3:
  • Fixed rating update when changed on current track (Salling Clicker)
  • Updated WBC URLs and links.

    TIM JAMES  In addition to some very good scripts, I also found the developer to be very helpful to me in creating a specialized script that I needed for Subtle Status. By all means, if you use any of his scripts, give a donation.

    ANONYMOUS  I love these scripts. I don't use all of them, but I have installed the ones I use regularly on both of my computers. These are the most useful to me:

    Delete Selected Track Files

    Prefix to Track Number

    Put Track Prefix to Track Number

    Remove n Characters From end of album

    Remove n Characters From Front of album

    Remove n Characters From Front of artist

    Remove n Characters From front of song

    Replace Text

    Track Names to Word Caps
