DESCRIPTION
Geek Image lets you see any image from the web you want, periodically refreshing it. Great for webcams or for keeping an eye on a dynamically generated graph. Inspired by GeekTool, but runs in the Dashboard, not in the desktop.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 0.3:
  • Optionally shows a spinner while loading images.
  • Now works on Leopard. (Many thanks to Jim Waters for debugging this and providing a patch.)
  • Other minor bug fixes.
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

ANONYMOUS  It would be really cool if you could have the option to send the image to the back of all other widgets, that way you could have kind of another wallpaper picture for the virtual desktop dashboard creates!

TERRY WEISSMAN  I don't know of any way for a widget to change its depth related to other ones. I don't know of any way to do this.
