BOBROCKY  This is an awesome program that takes advantage of the new core graphic abilities of Tiger. Imaginator gives you a lot of control over 108 different effects. Each effect can be combined with another and that one with another etc. allowing you to build chains of effects that give you the desired change to your digital graphic that you were trying to achieve. Better yet, once you create that new effect, you can save it to use on any other graphic at any other time.

Imaginator 2.0 adds a much needed paint module that also comes with new effects. Imaginator can give you a very gentle effect to the most bizzare, outlandish effects you've ever seen on your Mac. You have a tremendous amount of control over each effect, making unlimited numbers of changes to your photo. It is also very easy to go in and rearrange or eliminate effects without harming your original photo. I find that very helpful.

This is a very powerful program with a very low price. Try the 14 day demo and see for yourself what you can do with Imaginator 2.0.

MR. X  On my system it crashed 4 times in less than 20 minutes... oops!

It's a pretty cool app, but the added value compared to the free Core Image Fun House that comes w/ Tiger is not that huge...

For some mysterious reasons though, sometimes I can't save some of the stuff I make in Core Image Fun House, the resulting jpg or tiff is just blank. If iMaginator allowed me to save those, then it would be worth the money. Unfortunately you can't save in demo mode. and I'm not gonna pay $50 just to find out...

ROB C  The OpenGL optimisations mean that this app is now more than usable on older Macs without Quartz extreme or Core Image capable graphic cards.

The non destructive nature of this app also makes it a lot of fun.
