DESCRIPTION

iStat nano... An advanced system monitor in a tiny package. View detailed information on CPU, memory, hard drives, IP and external IP, bandwidth, CPU temperatures, fan speeds, battery, uptime and the top four processes. iStat nano features the lowest CPU usage of any stats widget we've seen (compare it if you don't believe us, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised!).

	Jan 12 2008	PORCUSTAL a nice widget and better with age but it has one problem and a small bit of weirdness, problem: it doesn't register the temp of my G4 cpus. which many other similar apps do. the weirdness: its total memory used seems a bit incongruous with other memory-usage utils. ie: it ignores the used-but-inactive mem when adding up total used mem. not really a problem but makes result different when comparing with other utils. i suppose its a matter of opinion... PORCUSTAL oddly the old version did display the right temp..

I miss the ols color coded memory usage display too...

	Apr 21 2007	PENNYHEAD1 A#1. Love this even though I do not care for Widgets. I have a lot of other programs that monitor specific functions on my computer but this does it all in one package. 	Apr 11 2007	ARROYODORADO While the new interface is very much apreciated, there seems to be a bug in the preference pane when you use the widget in the Amnesty Widget Browser insteada of the dock: It won't resize properly, so you can't hit the "Done" button anymore. Maybe it's a limitation in Amnesty but other widgets' backsides are resizing properly. Apart from that, it's really nice! (Version 2.01)		0

	Oct 25 2006	SHOCK J Love this widget, but version 1.7 seems to have major bug. On DUAL 2.3GHz G5, the process "tab" always shows the info of a different tab. Doesn't seem to be a pattern as to which tab it chooose. (Version 1.7)		0

LRKIRSCH It seems to instead display whatever was clicked on two times ago, for example:

If you view Memory, then Fans, then Processes, you get Memory.

If you view Network, then All, then Processes, you get Network.

(etc. etc. etc. :)

I've occasionally also noticed that one icon will not work at all when clicked, but if you close and reopen the widget, the non-working icon seems to be random if there is even one at all.

I've tried trashing the preference file but that doesn't fix anything.

Others have also reported problems with the Battery section.

Just checked the developer's blog again. 1.71 should fix all of this.

	Jul 3 2006	JUSTINNORMAN A well-packaged set of tools for viewing a nice load of information about what your computer is currently doing. I mainly use it to see how much of my CPU certain programs are eating up, but it also displays other information on memory, disks, networks and more. I can't view anything in the temperature tab, but that's the only flaw I've run into. (Version 1.51)		0

MARC EDWARDS If you're using a MacBook Pro, then please install the Speedit kernal extension to enable temps.

We'll support as many systems as we can, but there's quite a lot of work in getting fans and temps read on all models that have sensors!

MARC EDWARDS Right you are.

We'll be renaming the skin in the next big release. After a big of research it seems like it should be called "leopard". That's convenient!
