COLOURGRAVITY  This is almost exactly what I've been looking for. The only change I'd welcome to make it perfect would be to show nothing at all in the menu bar except when iTunes is actually playing (rather than leaving the icon or app name up there after iTunes quits, as it does at the moment).  (Version 2.0)

ANONYMOUS  Better off using an app called 'iController' - it's free and scrolls for you - couple that with 'Dock Art' and it's iTunes heaven.  (Version 1.5)

ANONYMOUS  what's the point in using this on OS X 10.4 or even 10.3 for that matter?

Tiger has it's own iTunes controller dashboard widget which does all this. And if you're not on Tiger, you can simply use the slim controller window in iTunes itself...

This company makes lots of useless programs, and thinks people will buy them???  (Version 1.5)
