The demo allows playing 24 of the 91 areas in Geneforge 3.

Game Cheater can be used to alter coins, level and experience.

For instance, at the very start of the game, as you create your first character use GameCheater to search Geneforge 3 for a four-Byte Integer of 15 (the number of skill points you start with.) Now increase your character's strength, note the new value of skill points left (11) and in GameCheater, search for the current value 11. Change that value to 4095. Increase your character's stats as desired.

Despite your character's extreme abilities, you may still wish to purchase training to acquire new spells and creation types. To change the amount of coins your character has, do a search for the value of coins your character holds. Buy or sell anything to change the value and search for the new value. Now change the (hopefully) single found location in memory to 29999 or continue changing the amount of coins you have by purchasing and selling until only one value matches in GameCheater.

Your character's level defines the maximum amount of Essence available. GameCheater can also be used to alter Experience points to have your character quickly gain levels. Don't forget to reset the search if GameCheater is already open. Search for the experience points that your character has. Kill something, pick a lock, defuse a mine or complete a quest to gain experience. Search again for the new value. Change the (hopefully) single found memory location to 61000 (maximum.) If more than one location are still matching, continue to change your experience within the game and then search again in GameCheater until there is only one match.

Once your character's level is very high, experience is accumulated much more slowly. This can be a problem for other party members that are low-level and need skill points. It is possible to change your character's level back to level one at which point experience will accumulaty quickly. It is also helpful to set each party member's experience points to 61000 so that everyone quickly gains levels and skill points. Don't forget to reset the search in GameCheater if it is already running. Search for your characters current level. After your level increases, search again for the new value until there is only 1 found memory location. Change it to 1. The characters level controls essence, energy and hit points so they will all drop to level 1 values. If the experience points are set to 61000 the character will go up in levels quickly (every time something is killed until levels 24+ or so.) Skill points are added as normal and enhancements can be made without using cannisters, buying training etc.

Geneforge 3 cheat codes:

During gameplay hit Shift+D and enter the code you want.

dbugkill
Kills all hostile enemies in the current area (note that more enemies may appear as a result of events.)

Heals you and all of your creations.

Partially recharge you and all of your creations' essence and energy.

Leave the current area and return to the current map. When in a dungeon, this cheat code returns you to

SHAITAN  GF3 is superb so far -- played the first two and loved them. The story has continued to evolve and the game engine has been tweaked enough to keep it fairly fresh. I must admit I'd love to see a Dungeon Seige-like engine for the next version, as the current engine is feeling dated. That said, it's still a very enjoyable game to play -- good mood, writing, etc.
