IGAUCHO Oh my gosh this game is awesome! Quite difficult too even on the easier settings. It's one of the best arcade style games I've come across for the Mac! If it says Freeverse, you're pretty much guaranteed to get one of the most fun games and time killers for the money. Good thing this doesn't take quarters. I'd be broke in no time! (Version 1.1)

NATE HOULE Kill Monty is Awesome! This game is really straight forward and easy to learn. That being said, you can make it as difficult as you want. The music isn't annoying, as is the case w/ most games I play. Sound f/x are really good too. Apparently theres an online mode but I can't comment on that because I haven't tried it. Overall this is a great game, I honestly can't think of anything that would make it any better... I guess, just keep adding new weapons. Great game, _very_ addicting! No stability issues. Runs great in both "full screen" and "window" views on my 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. (Version 1.1)

JLENNON314 This is totally one of those games that we need to have on the Intel Macs, too. I mean, it's just so great! Please, someone make a Universal Binary. I'll buy it, then. (Version 1.0.2)

XANDER To those complaining about how Freeverse "stole" the idea from Kill Dr. Cote, the idea has been around since "Smash TV" and "Super Smash TV" for the NES and SNES systems. Anyway, this is another awesome game by Freeverse, it runs very smoothly, looks great, sounds great, and is really fun to play. (Version 1.0.2)

ANONYMOUS I like this game and love Freeverse but. . . this game is a complete copy of Kill Dr. Cote. They added a couple of features such as costume changing. http://www.udevgames.com/downloads/?dlid=32 (Version 1.0.2)

ANONYMOUS You didn't even bother to read some of the other reviews here. Obviously. The guy who made "Kill Dr. Cote" IS the guys behind "Kill Monty", Freeverse is publishing it, and they "updated" the graphics and sound. Maybe if you'd checked the developer's website... doh. (Version 1.0.2)

ANONYMOUS The game is real fun. It lacks only one thing: A two-player mode. Then it would be perfect. (Version 1.0.2)

WRAITHE Well, so the previous poster had no clue. This is an _updated version_ of "Kill Dr. Cote" from Freeverse and the _original author_. It was worth it, the graphics are a bit slicker and the sound is addictive. I'm kinda immune to these simple games nowadays, but this one sucked me in for quite a while. Good gameplay, a bit rough to play on a powerbook. I love the laser, and the fact that the weapons "powerups" stack, so the more you pick up the same powerup, the more powerful it becomes. Sucks when you run across a different one. :) Only problem I've had so far, is a weird sound drop-out after playing for a while. (Version 1.0.1)

ANONYMOUS Here is the REAL game: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/16509 It's the same game, with less pretty graphics, and it's FREE! The actual udevgames winner. I hate it when someone charges for someone else's idea... (Version 1.0.1)

WRAITHE You know what *I* hate?? Stupid people who are so anxious to show off and bash something that they can't be bothered to do the 30 seconds of research required to back up their comments. The guy who made "Kill Dr. Cote" IS the guys behind "Kill Monty", Looks like Freeverse is publishing it, and they "updated" the graphics and sound. Maybe if you'd checked the designer's website: http://www.justinfic.com/. Next time, use a brain cell or two, first, huh? (Version 1.0.1)

ANONYMOUS Wheee!!! Ha ha! POW! Yargh! Really fun little game. Stupid arcade mayhem, and a fabulous 1-10 minute time waster. (Or 10-100 hours if you're intent on unlocking all the secrets!) Weapon power ups are the bomb-diggity, and Jared is a freakin' menace! Very challenging, goofy, and bug-free. Cheap, too. I registered it and haven't regretted it. (Version 1.0.1)
