ANONYMOUS  Nice app! It is simple and very fast. It changed text within 468 files names instantly!

It may not be bloated like some other file renamers and thus may have limited customization options but it works perfectly for me.

    Good Job!!!

RDW  Nice little programme, works simple, very handy. I've used it to rename "Tracks" into album names so I can see on my MP3 player what album it's playing. This already makes me very happy!

It's the first time I've used a rename-programme. Haven't tried out all the features yet, so I couldn't rate them. Since my system hasn't crashed using Rxname this past hour, I rated 'stability' 5 stars.

Tip/question: how can I copy names of files into the name+rename window, instead of typing them?

REKI  You can Ctrl+Click("right click") on the file name you want to copy, and select "copy to input field". This will copy the name to textfield where you put the pattern you want to replace. If you do the same but select "copy to output" the filename goes to the other field...

    Hope this helps ^^

BOUGEDELA  Rxname may well not be the most outstanding "batchrenamer" around, but but Java is surely not as cray as you pretend and there are plenty of Java app's around that are worth a try. Mr Anonymous have you ever used NeoOffice or JAlbum? just to mention those I'm using.

But, well, many java app's are free and there are people devoting their time to the community. They surely do not deserve your lousy remarks.

ANONYMOUS  Ugh, Java. Java is a slow, and practically useless format for making applications. Not worth the 3 second download.
