DRA STUDIO  Wow. This works just as intended, giving you a handy global hot-key to drop filler text onto a page. Using Mac OS X Leopard, and it has works perfectly in every app I have tried so far.  (Version 1.2)

ALJUK  Obviously useful, however, the lack control over sentences per paragraph / word-count is a significant drawback.  (Version 1.2)
