DESCRIPTION
BOOM... Remember the classic arcade game Bomberman? If you do, or even if you don't, you won't be disappointed by Boom. BOOM is an arcade game in the grand tradition, bringing the playability and feel of the glorious 8-bit consoles on the Macintosh. As a space marine your mission is to penetrate 8 alien infested areas, each one divided in 10 sub-zones, eliminate all enemies using your bombs and finally kick the Big Alien Boss back to where he came from.

UMAROMC  MU admin: clicking the Download now link only seems to reload this page. Problem doesn't persist when downloading from developer's site.

Thanks for your time and attention. :)

AETNARIA  I've had this happen during times of high MU server load. It seems dependent on how busy their host is, not any particular page itself.

VIRTUALRUFFY  LOVE IT! I have had it for many many years and it was one of the first shareware games I ever purchased. I keep hoping to see an update that adds some new content to it or a version 2.

    BOOM Forever!

MYLES  wow, i first played this game from a macworld cd, or maybe it was macuser, either way it was when i was like 7 (im 18 now). I used to love this game, the two player is cool, and the bosses are even cooler, im not gonnna bother downloading it though, cause ive been there done that got the tshirt bought the hat. What I will say is this, get this game some online support, a couple team based games and ffa modes, and you'll be onto a game you can sell at $25+ Anyway good luck with everything, and if youve never played boom, phone a friend, download it, and get ready for some imp exploding fun!

ANONYMOUS  this game is only 8 years old, and version 1.0.0 wouldn't have been released on a magazine CD...

IGABE  I agree with the idea for supporting multiple players over the internet (like StarCraft or etc).

I'm sure I'd start playing this game again if it had that.

Also, it would be an incredible motivation to pay for BOOM for those that still haven't after all these years (shame on me for this). You could make it so only registered people could play the internet competitions.

FAN  Always a wee bit surprised to see updates because this has always been one of the most slick, flawless games around.

Not that updates don't impress me even more! 8^)

ANONYMOUS  Doesn't seem to notice that I'm pressing keys on the keyboard. Oh well. Would have been nice to try this program out. Tried trashing the .plist file, that didn't help. Maybe next version.
