DESCRIPTION
iPhoto Batch Enhancer is designed to make your life with iPhoto even more comfortable. It helps you apply the built in iPhoto effects (enhance, black-white, sepia and more) with a few mouse clicks to a batch of photos. Additionally you can perform changes to the Adjust palette as well as scale or rotate your photos.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 3.0b9:
  • Completely rewritten dialog boxes with new icons and a progress indicator that is shown when contacting our servers.
  • Added a 'success' sound to indicate completion of a task.
  • Fixed a bug that could happen when applying snapshots from older iPhoto versions.
  • Removed another mention of snapshots with iPhoto 4 since there is still no adjust palette available.
  • Fixed a bug that would detect zero instead of the correct temperature and tint values when creating a new snapshot. (iPhoto 7/8)
  • Fixed a bug that would display an erroneous alert on some computers that the beta version had already expired.
  • Fixed a bug with iPhoto 4 that would stop batch processing after every photo.
REQUIREMENTS

THUS.SPAKE.Z  Very buggy. iPhoto(v7.1.5) crashes a lot with Batch Enhancer v3.0b9 installed. I get a multitude of error messages when trying to use Batch Enhancer's features.

Batch Enhancer's icons disappear from iPhoto window after using B.E. for the first time.

B.E. apparently still needs lots of work to make it run smoothly and problem free.

I'll give it another go when it's out of beta and (hopefully)stable.

    Intel core 2 duo w/OS 10.5.6.

TOMDOHERTY  Just updated from IBE v3.0b6 to v3.0b7. When I try to launch the app I get the following error message: You cannot use the application "iPhoto Batch Enhancer.app" with this version of Mac OS X. I'm running OS X 10.4.11 on a PowerBook G4 with iPhoto 5.04.

ANONYMOUS  Alas, it modifies the originals and saves them immediately and doesn't make a backup/duplicate instead. This makes it a bit to "risky" IMHO. Great idea, but I should have the option of having make a seperate catalog with the reside/changed photos.

ANONYMOUS  Actually iPhoto always keeps the original file so you can revert anytime back. Unfortunately iPhoto doesn't have the option of showing original and mofied images side by side.

FREDCH  I found the developer extremely helpful when I had a problem. I always just duplicate a photo(s) and work on one.

BRYANKD  When I import my photo's into iPhoto, I always enhance them to see if this would improve the photo. I've found that my photo's look better about 80% of the time.

    However, it's a tedious process.

That was before I discovered this little gem. All you have to do is drag the images you want to enhance (or turn sepia, b&w, etc), onto the application. Sit back and watch as iPhoto enhances and saves the changes to each photo without any further user input. A HUGE TIME & KEYSTROKE SAVER!

If you don't like how iPhoto enhanced the picture, simply select the picture the Revert to Origianl menu command.
