    .iff files are object files in The Sims series of games.

    ANONYMOUS  The IFF file format known from Amiga (developed by Electronic Arts) means something like "interchangeable file format". It is not limited to a single format but can contain everything. The sequencer software "Reason" also uses IFF for some of it's files...
