ODYSSEUS  It seems very difficult to reach the developer -- there's no email or other link on his web site!

Is MPEG2 Works significantly better than Handbrake?

SERBIAN  The support email address can be found on main page on mpeg2works.com .. Also, there is a link "contact developer" under Help menu in DEMO and full version of the app itself...You can, also, contact me via support forum through private message or via email...

LATE-R  I have been an avid user of this app since I believe the first release and it has been the number one used app in my collection for video conversion and authoring.

I would highly recommend this application to anyone who works with more than one video file format and who need to translate between those formats.

The customer support is outstanding with almost instant email reply directly from the developer himself, not some lackey or auto-responder.

I have and still do give 5 stars to this handy INEXPENSIVE application.

HAWKE5501  I purchased this program and it is not intuitive at all. The fact that you have to log in to some mythical server to get up dates is ablolutely stupid. I have tried for the last hour to get the most recent update with no success. The developers site offers no help either. I have transactions numbers and names as well as the eMail address but none have been accepted.

Stay from this dog.

SERBIAN  The server where the free updates resides is protected with private passwords for each user due to the fact that my application itself is not protected in any way /serial number or else/...Every user gets the information about update server and user/pass combo within the receipt for purchased app...

XJSMITH  as the previous poster noted i too was concerned about the limited nature of the demo, but after email contact with the courteous and knowledgeable developer mr. serbian i took a chance and bought the app. i am truly impressed, it is an outstanding addition to my video tool kit. it has taken every type of conversion i have thrown at it and produced excellent results. the encoding process is at least 3 times faster than ivcd and approximates the length of your input file. for example a 65 min .mov project took 75 min to convert to mpeg2 and a few more minutes to burn. quality was almost at the level of a store bought dvd. very little pixelation or blocky stuttering. audio/video mix very smooth. extremely easy for the newbie to mac and video conversion to use. one-click dvd works flawlessly. countless options for the more fluent videophile to explore. customer support the best i have encountered on the web. help is just an email and seemingly a few minutes away. put your worries to rest on the limited demo and try the full package. you will be happy you did. 5 STARS

LITTLEB  pity the demo has alot of limitations it would be nice if the developer would offer a 15 days trail of the app without limits as this would allowed people to see it full benefit

BBASILICO  I bought and downloaded but I could not get to work out of the box...

It was my bad for not having the right Quicktime set-up.

The Developer was more than helpful with getting it up and running.

I have a couple other shareware programs for DVD work but this is my new favorite!

Worth the $25 and then some!

NORIKER  I'm having huge problems getting this app to do anything but hang up. Can you tell me what you changed about your QT setup? I can view MPEG2 videos without any problem. No matter if I want to export from MPEG1 or MPEG2 to QT or from anything to MPEG2 it always crashes. My computer is fast enough.
