XPLICIT I understand the necessity of activating a software via internet (you all know why) and I've made my peace with that. But why do I need an account on the software developers website - in this case a so called equinux ID - to get a software activated I legally purchased? They state "Note: All data is transferred using secure connections." Fine, but what if I don't want to expose any data? I don't want to give them any personal data because they don't really need it. I don't want to make any of my auctions traceable by equinux, I don't want my auctions to be connected to an equinux server, I don't like even the mere possibility. I simply want a programme that helps me with setting up ebay auctions! There comes a lot of "forcing" with this app. The developers force their users - to have a badge with every auction - to provide an eMail address for downloading updates - to get like bare naked in a personal-data sense There's no fun in using this app. I'm also missing hint that using subtitles creates additional costs. And this app is SLOW. Just try changing auctions, or setting up a new auction, or ... . Although I have a regular licence I guess I'm not going to use iSale. (Version 5.5.2) |
