DESCRIPTION
Elements is a cool and searchable periodic table of elements with lots of useful information. Passing over an element on the table gives you instant access to general information. Clicking on an element gives you full information, such as crystal structure, physical properties, electron configuration with graphical diagram, and known isotopes.
Elements also contains a fast, accurate, and easy to use molecular weight calculator wich accepts classical chemical formula syntax with math symbols, and a two-way converter for volume, mass, concentration, and quantity.
Features:
- periodic table of elements
- molecular weight calculator
- "two-way" converter

GLW On my G4 iMac (OSX 10.5.6) this program gives nothing but a blank window. It seems that something has broken from earlier versions. (Version 2.2)

SIMONM Is good, but it has a few minor inconsistencies with the latest IUPAC rulings on atomic weights (generally last digits or missing digits). Sorry but as a periodic table it's the first thing I'd check and the last thing you'd expect them to miss. Not that they're likely to affect calculations. (Version 2.1)

TIJEJ Although Smell-O-Mints is nice, it doesn't offer all the functions you have in Elements. Smell-O-Mints offers only basic information on elements (Class, state, radioactive...). Elements is way better. If offers a lot of information, has a nice graph mode, a mass calculator, a comparator, a bohr diagram display. And all that in a very nice GUI. It's not free, but cheap for the number of features you get. (Version 2.1)

ANONYMOUS This program is supberb, just magnificent!!!! The interface is beautiful, and the tooltips are an excellent idea. The elemnts drawer is excellent too, as it shows isotopes and an atomic model with electrons!!!!!!! But it's not only the table, it includes a magnitude convertor and a formula weight calculator!!!!! It's completely worth the $10. Keep up this excellent work!!!!!! (Version 1.1)

ANONYMOUS Mel Beckman : for some dollars more, you get a "cadillac" type of chemistry info (provided that cadillac is that fancy !! it was in the '60) but if you don't pay these, you don't get much... in contrast to "Elements", which is far from being that greedy (esp. when the info in these softwares is free of charge from the UC Berkeley web sites... and compiled for free by scientists....) . Also Elements is only at v. 1.1 so, to the authors, keep up the good works... sent to all my students... (hopefully some will pay...) happy NY 2005 (Version 1.1)

ANONYMOUS You know, if you guys are going to release bug fixes every couple of days on an app that comes with crippleware restrictions, people are going to get annoyed with you. You aren't going to sell bunches of new installations based on your bug fixes, and it begins to look like you are trying to keep the app in the public eye somewhat artificially. Do your fixes and release a substantial revision every few weeks. (Version 1.0.2)

ANONYMOUS Don't be so aggressiv and have the courage to talk under your name when attacking people. This post look like a troll one. First, they're no "crippleware restrictions" on this product, we propose full feature for 30 days with no limitations. Second, someone find a typing bug and we correct it. We are serious persons and don't want our users deal with wrong data. And we propose new features in this new release. (NB: the 1.0.1 release just be up for a couple of hours because we unfortunetely introduce a problem with serialization for the people who bought this app, and you're not one for sure) I'm sure our registered users are happy to see new functions.
