SIDETRACKED  Works just fine on my G5 iMac. Very minor delay starting up.

Very cool, very unique. I used it as my main screensaver for quite a while, and got lots of questions and comments on it.

Personally I found the art a little grim after a while seeing it everyday, but that's a taste thing, not quality.

But worth checking out to see the rare screensaver that tries something radically different.

ANONYMOUS  Cool concept. Nice visuals and I like the speed of it.

Warning: Your Mac will appear hung, frozen black while it loads the screensaver EVERY TIME you pick it from the screesavers list! Just WAIT and watch!

I'm using an eMac 800 with 384MB's and it takes roughly 30-40 seconds before it loads the artwork. On my old iMac it took a full minute or so to load it. So if it doesn't load in 5 minutes, then panic!

Now to find some more quilts to add on to it.

P.s. The author of this needs to add a message about the progress of the artwork its loading !

GITHON  Installed, opened system prefs, screen savers, clicked on it... entire computer screeched to a halt. Dead stop. For minutes. No idea why.

After 5 minutes the computer recovered and was showing the preview. I hit options, set the image quality to lowest (Hoping that might help the problem), switched to another screensaver and back. Dead stop again, but not for as long (Say, a minute and a half).

Uninstalled. Which is a real pity, since I was looking forward to using it.

GITHON  Oh, and I'm on 10.3.9, 1.42GHz G4, 512MB Ram. Computer was only running Safari and Adium, fresh from a restart.

LEELO  Really quite stunning. Clearly a lot of work has been put into this and boy does it show. Mesmeric, beautiful and surprising...

ANONYMOUS  They're not kidding about "Mac OS X 10.3 or later"; try it in 10.2.8 and your screen will go black and you'll have to reboot to recover.

ANONYMOUS  FWIW, the "black screen" in 10.2.8 was with a Radeon 8500 Mac Edition w/current drivers.

ANONYMOUS  This may be happening because the Options dialog uses some 10.3 controls, unfortunately we do not have hardware to test on that is running 10.2.8.
