HAWK  Well I still prefer SnowSaver (which is here on MU also). It is an older one from 2002 but it is very light on CPU use and is very smooth on my G4-466.

DON  Not optimized is right… It takes all of my G4 processing power, which is rediculous. Fix that, and we'll talk… Multiple monitor support would also be appreciated for this type of eye candy.

ANONYMOUS  A bit CPU intensive for a little holiday app like this, but the active transparency on the snowflakes is nice. Now if only there was some real snow outside =(

ANONYMOUS  visually appealing and cute. however, on a G3/500 Pismo, it brings all other processes to their knees. too bad.

MATTHEW  Not that it's a bad program, but it isn't nearly as cool as Snö:

16  Fantastic, very pleasing. Would be nicer if it took advantage of multiple displays, but what the heck... It's nice.

ANONYMOUS  Nice. As the author says in his read me this very cpu heavy, so it needs to eat way less clock cycles that it currently does.

BUCOLIC FROLIC  Not bad. Would be nice if flakes were smaller (or if size could be controlled from preferences), but this is just a personal preference.

HORST HILDEBRECHT  Look at Snö Desktop (http://ittpoi.com/stem.php?product=com.ittpoi.sno&type=frameset). There you can control everything from preferences, of course flake size, too.
