IGREG  There was a serious problem with earlier versions updating server. I have had no problem with WB 2006.

Nice interface. Easy to use. Safer for kids doing homework than allowing them total access to internet. Adults doing research for whatever purpose will also enjoy using it.

Reasonably priced with upgrade price for owners of previous versions.

UNHAPPY WITH MACKIEV  Purchased World Book 2004 with a new Mac last year. The content update function never worked at all, despite all the hype included in the product about updates. When I visit the MacKiev tech support page, I was startled to read that World Book has given up on providing the service (annoying since the message pre-dates my purchase), but MacKiev, out of it's own goodwill, is running an update server. All I have to do is download an install an updater. I guess the misspellings should have tipped me off. It still does nothing. Don't buy this product.

ANONYMOUS  No offense to MacKiev, whose product I have installed on three computers, but donwloading an updater which will then tell me which update I need is too many steps. It would make my life much simpler if I could just select the ones I already know I need, without hoops.

LUCY  Let me check the calendar, coming up on May. That means coming up on half way through the year and still no 2005 version.
