GECCOH I've been using Stand for a couple of years now, and have always found it a great PlugIn for Safari. But with introduction of Extensions, I find that I'm only using the Webpage thumbnail preview (QuickLook) feature these days. Because of this, it seems like a waste of resources to have all of Stand installed now. So what I'd like to know is if it is possible to just use the Hetima quicklook plugins, and remove Stand. Or is there an alternative to getting webloc previews? (Version 5.0SL171)

History Flow broken with Safari 5 (Empty content - Works fine with Safari 4.0.5 (SL)) and SS icons in the toolbar reset each time when Safari restart (Problems exist since the upgrade - Leopard to SL). (Version 5.0SL171)

MUDGUTS Same here, History Flow is empty. Is there some incompatibility (with Safari upgrade or other plugins) or are we the only ones with this problem? Cover Flow works otherwise. (Version 5.0SL171)

SJK One feature (from Glims) I'd like to suggest be added to SS: • Form Autocomplete - Force the auto completion of forms in sites that prevent it. Or, can someone suggest a way to do it using Site Alteration or some other method? Thanks! (Version 5.0SL171)

SJK Found this Safari 5 extension that might supersede my request for it in SS: Safari extension: autocomplete « Lap Cat Software Blog http://lapcatsoftware.com/blog/2010/06/10/safari-extension-autocomplete/ (Version 5.0SL171)

JPROKOS I agree. I would love to see it as an extension. Then no need for me to keep SIMBL installed. Does anyone know of another tool that can do what SafariStand's WebClip feature can? (Version 5.0SL171)

>Does anyone know of another tool that can do what SafariStand's WebClip feature can? Not yet, and Clip Web Archive implemented as an extension would knock off another feature I still rely on SS for. Recently discovered the Sessions extension: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8247646/sessions/index.html That's already a mostly superior (IMO) replacement for SS Last Workspace and Bookmark Shelf functionality (and hetima's HsRestoreSession extension, which the Safari 5.0.1 broke). I've sent the developer a few suggestions, e.g. ability to reorganize tabs (if technically possible). (Version 5.0SL171)

JPROKOS SafariStand is one of my important tools when running Safari. The WebClip feature is an awesome tool. Unfortunately, it was unstable under 10.6.2 and Safari 4.0.5. Now with the release of 10.6.3 SafariStand doesn't load at all. Other SIMBL plug-ins are loading and working fine so this must be SafariStand issue. I've sent the developer an email and look forward to a rebuild to solve the issue. (Version 4.0SL170)

JICHI As a Japanese user, SafariStand has become an indispensable Safari extension to me. Its sidebar and locale switcher are quite convenient. After a year of using, I v added more than fifty searching engines. Currently, it does NOT work for Safari 4.0.5 on my laptop (Leopard 10.5 with SIMBL 0.9.7a). No idea whether it is because the outdate of SIMBL, or changes to Safari interface, or unknown problem with my own OS. Hope the developer can review this version and maybe commit an update soon. THANKS! (Version 4.0SL170)

PHILMAC After getting positive replies from others, I went ahead and upgraded to 4.0.5, and SafariStand 4.0SL170 works fine for me. (Version 4.0SL170)

JPROKOS PHILMAC What OS are you running? I can't get SafariStand to load under 10.6.3! (Version 4.0SL170)

PHILMAC 10.6.3. I have Glims and Click to Flash installed as well. And I don’t really see why this would matter, but I am running Path Finder rather than Finder. SafariStand is working, though I have noticed increased instability lately. You might want to try repairing/adjusting it and its folder’s permissions. (Version 4.0SL170)

UNCOY Great tool for stopping flash and for saving flash movies ironically. Also provides search shortcodes. All around brilliant. First stop on a new Safari install. (Version 4.0SL170)
