ANONYMOUS Not "WinDoze-centric", "Java-centric" and written that way such that pre-OS X users can also take advantage of spam reporting.
Check the uspto.gov website for SpamX - If one looks closely, one will find that SpamX is NOT a registered trademark to anyone - applied for, yes, registered, NO. What IS true is that this SpamX has been in commercial use since 2001 and that the _other_ SpamX is trying to _steal_ the name. The simple fact is that the _other_ author is preemptively claiming that they own a trademark when, in fact, they do not and, clearly, they should have the intelligence to _know_ it. Would _you_ trust someone like THAT?
It has also been reported to me by outside, independent sources, that the _other_ SpamX sends reports to the owners of IP addresses in _forged_ header lines which adversely impacts spam reporting everywhere.
