Spot Picker is an extension to the system color selector which allows you to select colors from InDesign swatch libraries, including spot colors. In any application written using Quartz graphics (including cocoa and modern carbon applications) spot colours are preserved in PDF and EPS output. With Spot Picker you can:
- Select colors from the libraries of major ink manufacturers in (almost) any application;
- Find the nearest match in a library to any given colour;
- Embed spot colors in PDF or PS output from most cocoa applications;
- Create graphics using spot colour in many applications, then drag the result to InDesign for colour separation.
