RetroPlayer is a music player with which you can listen to music as if it were being played by an analog record player. You can re-enjoy a piece of music that you have listened to many times.
IDJSTER How absolutely brilliant! I started listening to a song and didn't notice anything different until I heard the tiny pops and crackles in the background - just like my old vinyl records would sound, and I hadn't noticed it! The skipping made it really obvious soon after. Not hugely useful, but who cares? Insanely great isn't about hugely useful. :) (Version 1.7)
ALUAKZ I'm slightly too young for these things, but I like the app anyway. The only onvious disadvantage I can point out is the amount of CPU it eats, 50-60%! I think it is way too much for a little app, and it slows my iBook down. It would be great if that could be dealt with. Thanks (Version 1.7)
DEOCLICIANO OKSSIPIN Go to http://www.icompositions.com/auditorium/showphoto.php?photo=13802 and listen how I used my guitar+GarageBand with Retroplayer. (Version 1.6.0)
ANONYMOUS Well done! I hope it will soon also work with a whole album (dragged into retroplayer); right now I can only drag one song at once. Also the option of choosing sound output would be great. (Version 1.6.0)
TAHITOAOKI To tell the truth it's "sitx" file. Since The safari can't download "sitx" files by click, we renamed it to ".sit". To uncompress this archive, please use the newest version of StuffitExpander. (Version 1.6.0)

DARTH BROOKS Alas, still no "s-c-r-i-t-c-h" sound as the tone arm is dragged across the record. What could be more nostalgic! (Version 1.6.0)
DCE Utterly charming! Not hugely useful, of course, but it adds something to certain tracks. It's rare that software brings a smile to my face - keep up the good work!
My only request would be to make the interface a bit larger, and perhaps to lose the OS window as it detracts a bit from the illusion. (Version 1.5.1)
