CHIEFTED hmmmm me thinks that iPodderX, in its rebranding as Trasistr, has now reached the stage of.... With Transistr now being 6 months overdue from its projected release, and almost no support for iPodderX I can't recommend this product at all. (Version 3.0.3)

ANONYMOUS Warning. Several people, including myself, have posted to the iPodderX support forum, reporting a bug with this latest version (3.0.2). For me and these others, under Mac OSX 10.3.9, ipodderX always crashes aftert updating subscriptions. I never had this problem with earlier versions. (Version 3.0.2)

STEPPKE I tried opening iPodderX several times, but it was only blinking a few times, and then it crashed. I tried to solve the problem by reading the support forum, and so I disconnected the network, as many wrote, who had the same problem. I also went to the library and deleted the iPodderX-files. I use 10.3.9 and iTunes 4.8. (Version 3.0.1)

DON I have to disagree with some of the reviews of this product. Like anything in life, there is a beginning, and a maturation process. The current version of iPodderX functions quite well, and in the rare instances that it doesn't the support is there to try and keep everyone happy. As for Apple supporting podcasts in iTunes, they are trying to cash in on a market that the makers of iPodderX has developed for them. I am sure iTunes will have tighter integration but iPX will allow me the freedom to step outside official sanctioned Apple feed. Two words: IT WORKS!! (Version 3.0.1)

JOHN Slow even on a dual g5. Better interface and options but needs work. Would not launch at , deleted everything(old versions, plist, etc etc) and reinstalled, now it bounces in dock and takes awhile but it does eventually run. Everything is slow, even downloads seem much slower. Has also crashed several times. (Version 3.0)

ANONYMOUS After two months of being told by the developers that all of the problems I was having with versions 2.9 would be solved in version 3.0, I was very anxious to get my hands on it. Unfortunately this is worse than version two. The layout is nicer, but it barely functions. It takes literally a minute to load, uses significant system resources, crashes if you try and do more than one thing at a time. There is a help menu but that only brings up a blank white screen. These guys were constantly pontificating how they would only release a great product. My guess is that the reason they released was because iTunes announced it was going to support Podcasts in 60 days. These guys needed a few suckers to pay for their work. Don't buy it. Use a free one and wait for iTunes. (Version 3.0)

ANONYMOUS I've used the 2.x version of iPodderX and like it. It's simple interface makes it easy to get and organize podcasts. There needs to be some sort of bookmark system, but iPodderX 2.x is straightforward and usable. HOWEVER, the 3.0 version just doesn't work. On Tiger 10.4.1 it just bounces up and down in the dock. iTunes is supposed to have a Podcast feature in a month or two so I'll just wait for that. (Version 3.0)

TOM Wish there was a way to have it convert ALL audio downloads to bookmarkable AAC... as it is, we have to set it on a per-feed basis. (Version 3.0)
