JONTHES  Long time user, first time complainer. Will someone tell the developers (they offer no contact link on their site) that now when downloading a large file, that it will actually unravel - the progress number will go backwards, and substantially, I've watched it happen, like a sweater being unraveled. Makes it very difficult to complete a large download.

PATDDFAN88  Version 0.8 didn't work properly when I ran it, so I was forced to go back to 0.79! if you can't find files, then stick to 0.79 as this is a bug that was never fixed. also, version 0.8 was not released for OS 9, so that must have been due to the bug in this version!

MIBRILANE  There's simply no excuse for this still being PPC-only. The core of the app is Java, so how hard is it to re-do the interface parts in a Universal Binary?

There may be no noticeable speed advantage to having a UB of Cabos running, but not having to invoke Rosetta has other advantages on a system, especially one running many tasks at once.

HEAVY_BABY  For technical resons, Cabos will not be Universal Binary.

If you want use in Intel Mac, please use Acqlite instead.

MIBRILANE  Don't worry, I will. ;-)

Seriously, though. Both apps this is based on have been UB for quite some time. I'm guessing "for technical reasons" means you're not using XCode. Am I right?

JONTHES  Used Cabos for a while, generally happy with hit. Problem is coming up continually now, for developer - the network will cut out and leave it in effect frozen, 'downloading' files but with no activity, making it almost impossible to finish downloading any large file. Also a large file may get far along, then it will in part 'disappear' - though in the 'incomplete' file it is the same size, as far as Cabos is concerned 80% of it vanished. This is the latest version on Mac Tiger.

BUMBLEB  Heavy B, why are you developing two gnutella apps instead of just one? wouldn't it make more sense focusing your nice efforts into one app?

Please enlighten me;-)

HEAVY_BABY  First, Acqlite is not my own product. It was pozytron's.

But I have joined to the project to import Cabos core into Acqlite.

Second, Cabos is written in Rapid Development Environment. It's easy to handle for me.
