Palm Encoding Setup allows you to synchronize your Palm and Mac with full support for national characters.
Do you write on the Mac and the Palm in your language and need your data to be transferred correctly? Does your Palm display "String is unprintable" or question marks instead of important information? Would you like to read text from your Mac on your Palm?
With Palm Encoding Setup and Palm Doc Converter you will finally be able to correctly synchronize data with national characters between your Palm and Mac.
Supports:
iSync, Palm Desktop, HotSync, Missing Sync
standard conduits for synchronization with Palm Desktop, Address Book, iCal, Microsoft Entourage and Mark/Space MemoPad
all common Palm OS localizations and encodings (Central European, Baltic, Cyrillic, Greek, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai).
Documentation and interface available in the following languages:
WHYTOI This version has finally solved the Contact/Addressbook category errors I was getting with MissingSync 5.0.2b1/b2. Again, great support by PES's author and the MissingSync crew. (Version 1.9.12)
ANONYMOUS Palm Encoding Setup is not a standalone synchronization software. It just does what it's name suggests: It allows you set your Palm's encoding for all the popular conduits and hence lets you synchronize correctly data in Chinese, Korean, Russian, the Central European and other languages. (Version 1.9.10)

TYLER v1.95 was almost perfect. There were little squares which are supposed to be spaces and enter.
v1.96 fixed that. Time to buy Treo 650.
note to Apple: get your iSync to work with Palm if you are not going to come up with your own PDA soon. My Microsoft smartphone drives me crazy just like its desktop relatives. (Version 1.9.6)
SCUD Worked like a charm! Finally I can forget completely about the Palm Desktop... never liked it anyway! It took me a while to realise that it doesn't save the settings and thus not working until you pay but it was worth it.
Hopefully it will cover more conduits as it goes. (Version 1.9.5)
ANONYMOUS Amazing. I wish Apple had done this years ago!!! (I wrote them many times requesting that they fix this and telling them what was needed - but they never responded.) (Version 1.5.5)
WHYTOI The software worked as described. Received fantastic email support from the author. Apart from the fact that this is the only solution to iSync's foreign language problem, it really is a nice implementation at a fair price. (Version 1.5.1)
