DESCRIPTION
MoofMenu... Do you have a cluttered dock too because you have a lot of applications and documents you use every day? Would you also like some tidiness and have your dock items organized by topic? MoofMenu cleans up your dock - by moving all items into a small system menu with hierarchical order.

You probably made the same experience as most of us: you keep on putting items into your dock because you don't want to click you through folders and subfolders every time you like to open an application or document, until suddenly you realise that finding in the dock got as difficult as finding it on your harddrive.

MoofMenu adds a small icon to your system menu bar, right next to your Airport and Sound controls. Clicking on the icon opens a menu, in fact your menu - because you were the one that put the items in and organized them into hierarchic order. Just like your Apple menu in Mac OS 9.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.8:
  • MoofMenu is now a 64/32-bit Universal Binary and will run in 64-bit mode on 64-bit capable machines.

  • Mounting a network device is now also possible by selecting the entry representing the volume instead of the menu item beneath it (Mount …. )
  • Fixed a bug preventing entering the license key (occurs only on Snow Leopard)

DJ  this is great!

just wishing Moof had better caching and made better use of the huge 4gig ram that i have here in the G5. Why? Well, i wish it remembered the stuff in my apps/utils/internet folders better as there's a lot of frequent hdd accessing imho. Too much..

Other than this, excellent util :)

CRAZYSWEDISHGUY  Use Quicksilver, or Butler. Both are free, and much much cooler.

I used to use Butler, but now I use Quicksilver cause it seems to me it's much cooler.

Don't spend 5 bucks on a useless menu item.

FRANKIETHESHOE  I have to COMPLETELY disagree-and frankly, wonder who you really are??/ and if you have some "special" interest in promting some other similar app??

This program is fantastic, fast and totally stable, unlike the other programs you mentioned.

Hmmmmm..ya always have to wonder about some posts....
