HAGEN KAYE  A handy 5 star application!

Had a little trouble adding RSS feeds, emailed developer and got a response in 15 minutes! Support Outstanding!

Nice touches and features - like being able to scroll on the second monitor, drag scroll thru ticker, dim stories already read, etc. etc.

Smooth scrolling, runs excellent on 1.25 Ghz 15" PowerBook on 10.4  (Version 2.32)

MARC CHARBONNEAU  NewsTicker is a great application, at a really good price. The interface shows the developer "gets" the concept behind OSX applications-- every aspect of the program is very powerful but at the same time stylish, easy to use and good looking. Well done.

One thing I would love to see for a future version would be the ability to hide the dock icon. (perhaps put the menu options in an overlay window that appears when the cursor hovers over the feed?) That, in my mind, would make the program pretty much perfect.  (Version 2.32)

HENRY  This works very well, but you should know that it "ticks" news about apple products. This is a great way to see new software, but if you want a CNN style ticker, you will have to add a stream from preferances.  (Version 2.15)

ANONYMOUS  Interesting RSS ticker and probably one of the better ones out there.

However, the interface needs some work before it's really usable. The ability to mark articles as read without having to click each one is missing, forcing you to mark every article from every feed as read in order to get old stuff out of the mix.

There's also a slight issue with the demo version in regard to the position on the screen. If it is set to 'desktop' you will not be able to bring the app forward to click the 'register later' nagware button that pops up every time the feed is refreshed.  (Version 2.0)
