Bridge Construction Set... Building a bridge that doesn't break is what its all about, although watching your bridge creation break and plunge a train into the watery depths below can be half the fun. In the Bridge Construction Set you design and build bridges and then stress test them to see how your creations hold up under pressure. If when test vehicles pass over your bridge they make it safely across you know you've succeeded. If they plummet into the river you know you need to go back to the drawing board.
The robust physics deployed in the Bridge Construction Set let you build a wide variety of bridges that can span the river. The 3D graphics allow you to view your bridge from any angle including a first person train view - its like being strapped to the front of the train when your bridge is first tested (if this happened in real life I think we might have.
Added support for pasting registration information.
Changed Linux program directory in HOME to be hidden by default.
Changed config file to text for easy editing.
ANONYMOUS To delete segments of the bridge you have to hold down the Command key while clicking the item. Once I figured this out the game was much easier to use! (Version 1.31)
ANONYMOUS The author of this does not seem to have paid any attention to interface standards on the mac (or pc). It looks like a game that was fun on a pc sometime ago - the graphic display takes advantage of this - but I gave up when trying to use. Yes - I could always read the full manual - but then we should not need to read a different manual each time we use new software. (Version 1.31)
ANONYMOUS Wow! I Have been laughing while playing this now for an hour. Waht a great game. I only wish i could get it to go back to a bigger screen on my G5 20". It was bigger but I am not sure what I did. Awesome!!!! (Version 1.31)
ANONYMOUS If you want the game to fill the screen, run the separate "setup" application that is in the same folder as the game. (Version 1.31)

ANONYMOUS pretty, fun. I played it for liek 3 hrs today kinda got hooked. Many ways to solve each span. I want to play the full version try all teh materials, etc. Think it needs a free build as well, where there is ulimited cash. worth the small DL to have some fun with physics. (Version 1.31)
TONY Neat idea, killed half an hour but I won't be ordering the full version.
Interface is... well... poor. Couldn't get the copy / paste working right, couldn't delete at all except for select the whole structure and start again.
Price is also much too high - compared with the depth of Avernum 3 or the polished interface of Klear Games' Samurai, you can do much better for your shareware dollar. I suggest $5 is probably closer to the mark. (Version 1.31)
ANONYMOUS This is a really fun and challenging game/simulation. I am amazed at the complexity of the modelling -- when I've made "wrong" bridges, the way they failed always surprised me, yet were totally believable.
The price is right, the performance is quite good, even on lower end machines, and it's a blast! Nice work! (Version 1.31)
JASON Great idea. Needs a little work on the interface, though. Also needs better scaling support. But, this game will be very cool as time goes by. This is a wonderful learning tool and should be a requirement for schools. (Version 1.31)
