ANONYMOUS  Checked and produced a report in seconds. Seems to work as described.  (Version 2.2.2)

JOE  I'm about to release another version of PrefCheck that has more features. It won't make the program more complicated, just more user friendly with a couple extra options. I'm trying to stay away from letting this little app getting too complicated.

There's a program written by a good developer called "Preferential Treatment" and it is full of features for people that want them. In fact he's helping me learn how to script! I'm not going to copy his program or even try to make mine similar to it. I think copying a persons program is just plain wrong!

If you want a simple app PrefCheck is for you, if you want a ton of features get Preferential Treatment. Or get both.

Best of all, they're both free!  (Version 2.1)

JDUNN  Well, this program get right down n' dirty. Other pref checking apps I've used are much more complicated, so I like this.

One of my prefs reported an error, but I'm not sure what it means exactly. I'm sure future development on this will include additional features.

    Nice start!  (Version 2.0)

JERRYMPLS  I'm running 10.3.5. Does exactly what it says - very quickly too. I like that it gives your a list of every pref. checked in TextEdit. Would be nice if it were to point out which pref(s) was corrupted instead of having to look through the list in TextEdit. But, otherwise, not too shabby.  (Version 2.0)
