Peep cracks open any file regardless of format and displays the contents as raw data or as text. This is a very useful utility when programming or when wishing to extract information from a file that you can't open otherwise.

Looks a little like an idea I was toying with... a cross between TextEdit and HexEdit... since it's Intel only (and therefore useless to me), guess I might eventually take a stab at it... (Version 1.2)
ANONYMOUS Needs to have a Find function within text extraction. Reminds me of Can Opener from OS9 days, an app which I rarely used but was "nice to have". (Version 1.1)
