KEDOS I have a couple problems with this software. The main problem is the price. $25 is, I think, too much for this software for three reasons: its level of difficulty to create, its competition and its purpose. I'm no programmer, but this seems like a rather easy program to code. It may not have been the easiest project in the world, but $25/person seems like a bit much (especially when there are developers out there creating much more complicated freeware such as schoolhouse and adium, among thousands of others). There's nothing too special about this software; it doesn't allow you to play against friends or anything. That's fine though. It functions well. But that brings me to the software's competition. There's really nothing else like it, which leaves you no choice. Well, there is a choice and it's a free one: the internet? An atlas? It's not hard to quiz yourself. Granted, I think WOW does a better job of it. My main problem with the price is the software's purpose. I think education should be widely available and promoted. I hate having to pay for a tool that will help me learn. These kinds of tools just seem like something that we should all be willing to share to help each other. That being said, I still think it's a great software for learning country names and some cities, as long as you don't want to get too detailed.

UMIJIN Sorry, the Sea of Japan is the correct name - not East Sea. That's been the standard name on maps for years. Of course Koreans call it the Korean sea.

IZAC I changed it because of a complaint from a Korean gentleman who felt that the "Sea of Japan" was culturally insensitive. "Korean Sea" would also be so, so East Sea seems relatively neutral.

UMIJIN Sorry, but that's a poor reason to change it. How about this - I'm a WoW license holder, resident of Japan and equally offended you would ignore accepted convention to please a minority. This is political correctness where it is really unwarranted. How about neutral names for all countries or regions, because they offend people? For example, I can see people irriated that the Sea of Cortez is named for a Spaniard instead of the native people who knew that sea by their own name. Whatcha gonna do - call that one the "More East Sea"?

YOUNGMIN You're wrong, Umijin. No Korean calls it Korean Sea, that would sound stupid if I translate it in korean(Hankuk Hae?). Pick up any map published in Korea, you'll find it's written 'East Sea'. Geographically speaking it's also wrong, because the east is west for Japanese. The real reason for this unpolitically official name, which is 'Sea of Japan', is just simple; the power game. The day Korea overpower Japan, it'll be changed into East Sea. C'est claire?

SUNSTARS Great application, makes geography really fun. Noticed a few minor bugs though, like names aren't updated when you switch between countries in flag-mode. Otherwise great software.

TD genuinely useful software made by a friendly guy. we needed something to take the place of our old torpedo software from the old 7.5 days and this does it well. he's working on some other good stuff too.

WEEZ I don't know what that other guy is talking about, but World of Where v1.3 is awesome! I'm using this software to prepare my kids for geography class in high school! They learn, and have fun in doing so with this software! Keep up the good work!
